It’s a wrap for Sedus and Clerkenwell Design Week
Sedus has had another very successful Clerkenwell Design Week this year with a capacity audience from many of London’s interior architects, designers and dealers.
A highlight of our show was headlined by our guest speaker Hannah Nardini from WKspace who joined us in a packed showroom on both the Wednesday and Thursday. Hannah presented her findings as a workplace strategist, considering the workplace of the future and how the office landscape has recently changed post Covid and how it will continue to further evolve dramatically as a result.
Q&A sessions raised a number of useful areas to be researched and discussed in our next open seminar. Her presentation was captured by our talented ‘graphic scribe’
The CDW festival opened with its usual splash of pink around Clerkenwell, with visitors eager to reach us at the very start of the opening day. They were not disappointed to arrive early as they were greeted by our very own 30-strong ‘Rock Choir’ who made a bit of a song and dance for Sedus customers and even residents within the Brewhouse Yard courtyard on Tuesday lunchtime. Visitors were treated to popular tunes whilst enjoying a traditional German bratwurst and pretzel, seated outside, of course on Sedus furniture.
Within our showroom, Sedus was pleased to officially launch the se:lounge home and office chair, which is a brand new addition to the Sedus portfolio. The se:cube max extra large room-in room system was also officially launched and visitors were able to view the se:cube max through 3D glasses using AR technology.
One final part of the programme was a fun competition for guests with an introduction to Sedus se:hub smart storage lockers. Visitors were encouraged to “search and find” the winning locker within the se:hub App smart locker system.
Ben Wheeler, Managing Director of Sedus UK said, “Once again, Sedus reinforced our presence very clearly on the CDW map. That was certainly the feedback we received from the many unique visitors, friends and partners who came to our showroom. We received a constant steady stream of guests each day and we hope they were delighted with the many diverse and unique office furniture solutions they experienced.”
