se:desk home – ergonomics in the home office
As more people are becoming a part of the hybrid office model, companies are beginning to take into account the equipment their employees use at home. There is no point in undermining efforts made in the main office, in terms of ergonomics, well-being or productivity. It would be pointless to have modern facilities, with state-of-the-art technology and top-quality equipment, if the employee goes to work half the week at the kitchen table on a half-rickety chair.
With this in mind, Sedus presented its latest home office product this past summer – se:desk home.
Ergonomic and compact, se:desk home blends in with any home environment.
A healthy posture in the Home Office
The se:desk home, designed especially for the home office, is characterised by its light design, clear lines and modern materials. Its rounded corner tabletop and sustainable PET felt lampshade underline its homely character. Thanks to its electrical height adjustment, the table follows the user whether they prefer to work sitting or standing, thus offering optimal ergonomic comfort. In addition, thanks to its compact dimensions, it adapts to any room, but with more than enough space for the necessary technical equipment. The integrated second-level tray is perfect, for example, for placing an additional screen.
The height adjustment is operated by a raise / lower control, which is conveniently mounted for the user at the front, just below the tabletop, on the left or on the right. Its high-quality technology allows a precise adjustment and guarantees stability even in the highest position.
Display with integrated tray
The separator screen is made of PET felt. The included tray supports a load of up to 7.5 kg and serves as a decorative element or as a laptop shelf. A cable hole and a perforated opening in the PET felt make wiring the workstation easy.
Optionally, a se:lab tray can be mounted below the tabletop. This consists of a metal frame, which is screwed under the table, and a removable PET felt tray. With internal dimensions of 210 x 297 mm and a height of 70 mm, the se:lab tray offers enough space to store everyday items such as pens, notebooks or your smartphone.
